Historic Landmark | Sundowns Make SA Proud In CAF

Mamelodi Sundowns ladies were in action against Malabo Kings for the final spot in the Total Energies CAF Champions League semi-final. The CAF match was played on Monday night 15 November at the Al Salam Stadiums which is situated in Cairo, Egypt. Sundowns played the first half with an intention to win the match, but the Malabo Kings gave the South Africans a tough time and delivered a few punches of their own. Mamelodi Sundowns ladies and Malabo Kings went into extra time with goalless scoreline. It was a first ever CAF Champions League tournament for the ladies in Africa and it was a long time coming and Sundowns look to be the first team to become the champions.
