OPINION: Sacking of Baxter cost Chiefs not to qualify for CAF

Last weekend, Kaizer Chiefs concluded their 2021/22 campaign in a disappointing fashion after being held to a 2-2 draw by relegation-threatened Swallows FC – a result that ended the club's hopes of qualifying for next season's CAF competitions.

The development came a month after former coach Stuart Baxter was sacked and replaced by assistant Arthur Zwane following an inconsistent run of form in the league which had seen the club slip to fourth place in the standings with seven matches still to be played.

This Guy over stayed at Chiefs he shuld have been booted out after 8 games but chiefs thought things will change and they never changed Results were not coming, They Shuld fire him again man.

The team is a joke the players are drunken clown, the fans are idiots, why not fire the entire coaching staff? Zwane wanted him out so he can be a coach.

With Baxter 3rd position was a guarantee even fight for 2nd look at would happened had we won the swallows game.

Doesn't matter. He was useless. Maybe if the argument was about Middendorp I'd understand. He was doing well until lockdown happened.

It was long overdue, we probably wouldn't even be in the top 5 in his presence.

Chiefs shouldn't have sacked back bfo the end of the season. I believe chiefs would be 2nd by now.

Chiefs doesn't have players even if they can bring Jurgen Klopp, with that deadwood he won't get anywhere.

The Motaung family needs to pay careful attention because their support is dwindling thick and fast.

After all the supporters are what made the team to be what it is. If they are not doing anything, soon they will kiss the family business goodbye.

There is a big change that is going to happen wait till 8th June KC press conference on who is coming in & out as for Baxter.

it's a sign that Kaizer Jnr Motaung is wasting no time he wants to restore the teams reputation and pride.
