One of Orlando Pirates former players managed to strike a deal with a PSL club to revive his career after being without a club for a while.
The current tranfer window is now being used to full advantage as the last deals for the movement of players before the window closes in a few days as deadline draws near. Some impressive signings have already been completed in previous weeks, but as the Dstv Premiership commenced it signings went silent for a while until some deals have been recently announced with Orlando Pirates bringing two African players into your squad.
As the week has reached the edge of the weekend, more news came to light of players striking some impressive moves to get into PSL clubs before the window closes securing themselves spots before being left on the sidelines without a club for the season. A new lease on life for former Orlando Pirates player Tshepo Gumede were made possible after he spend a while without a club last playing for Cape Umoya United.
Tshepo Gumede was in luck as Marumo Gallants who runs out in the Dstv Premiership saw some interest in the former Pirates player and offered him a one-year deal to revive his career after the player had some time off without a club. Tshepo Gumede who plays as a defender are exceptionally good in his position and is to my opinion a perfect fit for Gallants.
As Gumede strike a one-year deal, striker Letsie Koapeng were luckier striking a two-year deal with Gallants. Both of the players were without a club until Gallants saw potential in them after the two tried out for the club which was clearly an successful attempt.
All that is required of the two new additions is that they need to show Marumo Gallants their worth and what they are made of to not disappoint the club, and prove to them that they might the right decision bringing them aboard.
Well done Tshepo Gumede and Letsie Koapeng. 👍 Hope you make the best of your stay at Gallants.
