SOCCER: Bull to hire SA CEO

SOCCER- CAPITAL city giants Mbabane Highlanders will soon hire a South African chief executive officer (CEO).

The black and white outfit has been without a CEO after the departure of Melusi Dlamini early this year.

It has been reliably gathered that Highlanders boss Ally Kgomongwe has purchased a brand new car for the incoming CEO, an R line Polo 2020.

Kgomongwe said the team was on the verge of enlisting a South African CEO.

“We decided to hire a CEO from SA to look at the administrative issues of the club.

However, I am not yet in a position to divulge  the name of the candidate until we conclude our negotiations with him," he said.

Meanwhile it has been learnt that the club has also purchased a polo max for marketing manager, Kgomotso Machava, who joined the club at the beginning of last season.

The black and white outfit finished the 2019/20 MTN league occupying position seven.

They are also the 2019/20 EPTC Charity Cup defending champions and SMVAF Ingwenyama Cup runners-up.

The crowd-pulling side has already enlisted the services of three players in Sibonginkhosi ‘Gudas’ Dlamini, Siphosethu’Mlotsa and Siwakhile Shongwe in preparations for the new season.
