In the world of football professional footballers may appear superhuman but that does not mean that they are immune from getting sick.
These well known stars can be struck down by serious illnesses and in this case lightning has struck twice in the same household.
In October 2021 former Warriors forward Tendai Ndoro who plied his trade at Orlando Pirates grabbed massive media attention when shocking pictures of his surfaced online and sparked concerns over his health. The 37 year old Zimbabwean born footballer was allegedly struck down by a mystery illness which was the cause for his weight loss.
Back then when his pictures surfaced online, the former Orlando Pirates jersey number 7 was training with Northern Division side Simba Bhora which is owned by his relative Simba Ndoro as he continued to recover from an ailment. A few weeks later the former Al-Faisaly FC forward headlined again when it was reported that he had lost his eyesight completely for three weeks.

In one of his media interviews the former Orlando Pirates forward shared that he was able to regain his eyesight after he joined the Victorious Family International Church (VFIC), which congregats at Mai Musodzi Hall in Mbare. As of late Tendai Ndoro's twin brother Takudzwa who has spent over five years plying his trade as a goalkeeper in Botswana has since been struck down by a serious illness.

On Wednesday evening the former Gilport Lions goalkeeper took to his Facebook account to share a picture where he had been admitted at an undisclosed hospital. Taking to the popular platform Takudzwa Ndoro would then go to caption the shared picture with, "not a good place to be", followed by a teary emoji.
As of late many of his fans and followers have since taken to the comment section to send their get well soon wishes.
