Ruzaigh Gamildien Is Off The Mark With His First Goal Of The Season

Date: Sunday, October 17

Ruzaigh Gamildien who was one of the topscorers last season in the Dstv Premiership, took a while before he scored his first goal for the 2021/22 season at Moroka Swallows. Moroka Swallows played against Stellenbosch FC in their latest home fixture and ended the match in a 1-1 draw for a point all thanks to Gamildien.

Moroka Swallows faced off against Stellenbosch FC at home and ended the match in a disappointing 1-1 draw as they are still struggling to get back to winning ways as they have 1 win for the season with 3 draws and 3 defeats. Ruzaigh Gamildien was a key player for Moroka Swallows last season as his goals contributed to a lot of points.

Ruzaigh Gamildien is on a slower start this season as he now scored his first goal for the season against Stellenbosch FC, but unfortunately could not register a win as they did not defend their lead against the visitors. Ruzaigh Gamildien scored the opening goal of the match in the 43rd minute for the 1-0 lead as he now has 1 goal in his 5th match for the season.

Moroka Swallows lead did not last very long as Deano Van Rooyen scored just two minutes later in the 45th minute for a 1-1 level scoreline. Both clubs tried to do their best to win but unfortunately had to settle for a point each as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Moroka Swallows is in serious need of points on the log and needs to win matches in order to perform like they did last season at this stage.

Ruzaigh Gamildien is now off the mark with his first goal and knowing he has the ability to score many goals, Moroka Swallows could get better as Gamildien is back to scoring.
