Ex-Chiefs Defender Set For A Move To Durban-based Club?

Ex-Chiefs Defensive Player Is Possibly Joining a Durban-Based Club.

Kaizer Chiefs football club cut 12 players and a goalkeeper coach they deemed unnecessary for the 2022/23 season and added 8 new players to the senior team.

Dumisani Zuma is one of the departing players; he has joined PSL rivals AmaZulu FC, who compete with Kaizer Chiefs. It is been reported that former Chiefs player Ramahlwe Mphahlele will join AmaZulu FC.

AmaZulu, headquartered in Durban, just added former Kaizer Chiefs players George Maluleka and Dumisani Zuma to their roster, and Mphahlele might join them.

After Kaizer Chiefs announced his departure last week, sources say the Durban-based side has been in talks with the player's representation and hopes to finalize a deal this week.

Though one source has verified that Mphahlele is in talks with AmaZulu FC, another claims that he has not yet chosen whether to relocate to Durban or remain in Gauteng.

AmaZulu FC also lost 15 players, and despite replacing only half of them, additional players are rumored to be interested in joining Usuthu.
