Young South African striker scores on his debut in Europe

Andras Nemeth has scored his first goal for the senior team after years of featuring for the under-23s, under-20s and under-17s of the KRC Genk team in Belgium.

He scored the the 4th and final goal as his side won 4-1 the full-time scoreline against fellow Jupiler Pro League side Beerschot as reported on www.soccerladuma.co.za.

The 19-years-old striker was born in Cape Town to a South African mother and a Hungarian father as reported on www.kickoff.com.

He has already represented Hungary at youth level but he has never featured for the senior national team, which means he is still eligible to represent Bafana Bafana.

KRC Genk is the former team of the late Bafana Bafana right back(defender) Anele Ngconca, he remains a legend in the team.

Andras Nemeth will hope to follow in the footsteps of his countryman by giving out his heart on the field of play to inspire KRC Genk to win trophies.

It remains to be seen if SAFA will approach the youngster plus the fact that Bafana coach is from Belgium might work in their favour.

Stay tuned on the latest developments on this matter.
