Bafana-Bafana star advised to join a European team

The highly rated Teboho Mokoena from SuperSport United star player has been consistent since he has been graduated from SuperSport United's junior ranks, and his impressive form has made him to be the most sought after player in the DStv Premiership, as there are reports that big clubs from Gauteng Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs are in a race for his signature, right now it's reported that Anderlecht from the Belgian League has thrown in their interest in him as well. Mamelodi Sundowns are reported to have offered SuperSport United R25 million, while Anderlecht tabled R20 million. With Sundowns having offered more money than any other team it's not yet certain if Stan Matthews would accept such an offer.

Glyn Binkin the agent of Teboho Mokoena confirmed to the media that his client has agreed personal terms with Mamelodi Sundowns, however it's now up to the two clubs to reach an agreement as discussions are at advanced stage.

Former Kaizer Chiefs player Valery Nahayo advised Mokoena that he should choose the European side over another DStv Premiership team, when comparing the two leagues Nahayo indicated that Belgium is the best league. Top European leagues do look out for players in Belgium, plus a love to Belgium will also see Mokoena having a much improved financial gain than what he was gaining at SuperSport United. Tebogo Mokoena is still a youngster, and it's likely that he has not yet reached his potential yet, and accepting a deal with Anderlecht will also mean that the Bafana Bafana star will grow on his game play, plus he will face a variety of different players than what he is originally used to in the Premier Soccer League.

The 25 year old Bafana Bafana star could not have another opportunity to move abroad than this one, and accepting a deal to Mamelodi Sundowns might also sent his chances to play for Bafana Bafana should he fails to break into the starting line up due to the excessive number of players who play on a similar position as him.

According to Nahayo Anderlecht uses more youthful players on their squad, and Mokoena has an opportunity to be featured on their first team. And for his price tag, Anderlecht can afford it as R20 million is not really that much for them.
