Brighton and Hove Albion suffered a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in their latest Premier league fixture as Palace scored the winning goal in the last minutes of injury time. 
Brighton and Hove Albion played their latest fixture in the English Premier league against Crystal Palace at home, and suffered an unfortunate 2-1 loss at full-time. Brighton and Hove Albion were incredible as they managed to equalise Palace's early first half lead in the early minutes of the second half of the match. Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the opening goal of the match, and Brighton's Joel Veltman equalise in the second half of the match. Brighton held onto the draw until the second half injury time as Christian Benteke broke the deadlock to put Palace in the lead at 2-1. Brighton lost the match 2-1 in the end as Percy Tau sat another match out on the bench.
Crystal Palace opened the scoring midway in the first half of the match, when Jean-Philippe Mateta scored the opening goal in the 28th minute to lead at 1-0. Brighton's Joel Veltman scored the equalising goal for his side in the 55th minute as he levelled the score on 1-1. Crystal Palace reclaimed the lead when Christian Benteke scored a very late injury time goal in the 90+5 minute to lead at 2-1. Crystal Palace managed to hold onto the lead as they won the match 2-1 in the end.
