Chiefs midfielder Finally finds new club

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has joined fellow DStv Premiership side Marumo Gallants after an extended period of looking for a new team.

Since parting company with Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season, Ntshangase had been without a club.

Before joining the DStv Premiership new boys, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder was linked with moves to Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu.

On Thursday, Gallants, who are in their first season in the South African top flight after acquiring TTM classification, announced Ntshangase's signing.

Tshepo Gumede, a former Orlando Pirates defender, has joined Gallants from Cape Umoya in the GladAfrica Championship.

Ntshangase separated Amakhosi into two teams before the end of last season, and he recently had a tryout with Marumo Gallants with the hopes of signing a contract with the club before the start of the current season.

Sekhukhune United, a rookie club, examined his attacking midfield, but he was unable to reach an agreement with the club.

Stash's representative, Jazzman Mahlakgane, indicated that he was having difficulty getting back into shape because he hadn't played competitive football in a long time.

"He hasn't played in a while, therefore a fitness test or appraisal is in order. We didn't finish something with him. You examine his physical condition and other factors "Mahlakgane was informed by the Siya team.
