Heartbreaking| Sundowns coach missing the late Sundowns defender

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club is one of the big three teams in South African football history, along with Kaizer Chiefs Football Club and Orlando Pirates Football Club. The club is currently dominating South African football and has been doing so for the last ten seasons, winning seven of the last ten league championships with four coming in the last four seasons.

Their start to the 2021/2022 season suggests that their dominance is nowhere close to ending, they are yet to lose a game in all competitions this season winning the MTN8 trophy in the process and also having a formidable and scary start to the league.

From the 12 matches, they have played have drawn three won nine while conceding two goals and scoring 21 goals, to sit at the top of the table with 30 points eight clear of second-place Chiefs with a game in hand.

Their dominance has not always been smooth sailing as they have lost some of their key personnel, Motjeka Madisha, Anele Ngcongca, and Pitso Mosimane are some of the few important people the club has lost in the last five seasons.

One of the club's co-head coaches Rulani Mokwena today went to his Instagram @coach_rulani to re-share one of the most painful memories the club and country ever had to go through.

He re-share his memories with the late Sundowns youth captain, Madisha who passed on last year in a horrible accident, and his death was confirmed early this year.

The memories were accompanied by a song by Brandy and Gladys Knight missing you, showing how much he missed the late defender.

I think everyone can agree with me when I say death really robbed us of great talent, his approach, respect, and humbleness towards the game are what made him stand out of the masses.

May his beautiful soul continue to rest in peace, we will always remember you.
