Without a doubt, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club has one of the best goalkeeping departments in South Africa if not Africa, from the days of Brian Baloyi the club has always found a way to produce the best goalkeepers around, as we have seen with itumeleng khune over the years and now the rise of Bruce Bvuma.
Despite having the best goalkeeping department in the country, the club has somewhat struggled in that department in the last few months forcing them to go into the market, signing former Bidvest Wits Football Club goalkeeper Brandon Petersen.
Their struggles have seen the four of their goalkeepers get a chance to play in the eight games the club has played this season, and after those games, the Nigerian International Daniel Akpeyi has come out as the club's number one.
The 35-year-old shared a picture of himself and his fellow goalkeepers alongside goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter, wearing medals and awards rewarding themselves for the hard work, and fans agreed with the keeper.
