Newly promoted side Brentford have become a nightmare team to play against. Their aerial style of play accompanied by their speed and strength have made them a very tricky and difficult team to play against.
Even the league leaders Liverpool found it a nightmare fixture in a very determined Brentford outfit. They score 3 goals in what was a very bullish game where the worlds best defender in Virgil van Dijk found it hard to keep up the the type of play the Brentford team brought, that game ended in a 3 all draw. They absolutely bullied very team they played against and their aerial play is second to non and they displayed this in their first premiere league game against Arsenal.
Brentford have been unlucky over the year with finding promotion to the to flight of English football. They hold the record the the team to play the most playoff finals and never win however last season the finally accomplished what they could not accomplished for years.
In the last game of the night, Brentford went up against a team in Chelsea that many have chosen to win the league. The first half started off slow with both teams finding it hard to find the opener. It was Ben Chillwell who opened tge scoring fir Chelsea just before the half time whistle.
It look like it was going to be just another routine win for Chelsea and that maybe the international break took the sting out the bees. This was not the case in the second half that saw Brentford go on to absolutely dominate and shock the whole Chelsea team and stuff.
The bees dominated the second half of the game with over 70 percent of ball possession. It was a one way traffic with Brentford going at Chelsea with everything they had, they struck the post a number of times and Chelsea had no answer to the Brentford attack.
Mendy had to make save after save. His display in the box spiked questions after the game of why he wasn't shortlisted for the most prestigious award in football, the balon'dor. The only thing keeping Brentford from equalizing or even winning the game was Mendy and the goal posts.
It was an absolute nightmare to watch for Chelsea's technical team and fan's around the world as Brentford kept coming. The game looked like Chelsea might or was going to lose as the bees kept pushing and pushing, with Chelsea barely able to even go past the halfway line.
Chelsea however held on to their one goal lead fir the win, sending the back at the top of the league table.
