Official | Former chiefs player joins Amazulu

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender, who left the soweto based club as part of the massive clear out by coaches Arthur Zwane and Dillion Sheperd early in the transfer window.

Amakhosi opted against renewing Rama's contract when it ended on the 30rth of June. Ramahlwe Mphahlele was unveiled by the Durban based side Amazulu today. The 33 year old defender joins Amazulu on a two year deal. The deal will see the defender at Durban till 2024.

Ramahlwe Mphahlele featured for Kaizer Chiefs for most part of last season at some point handed the captains arm band by the club. He will look to revive his career under current Amazulu coach Brandon Truter.

Amazulu will look on Mphahlele to add experience to their defence after they lost out on Thapelo Xoki who skipped ship and joined Soweto based side Orlando Pirates. The player joins a wholesome number of new faces at Usuthu.
