Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has revealed that Samir Nurkovic desperately wanted to leave the club last year, and he would’ve replaced him with Bradley Grobler.
Hunt, who spent just under nine months at Chiefs, came out to explain what exactly transpired during his spell at Naturena with the Amakhosi striker.
He said that he had to give him a transfer as he requested it with immediate effect and he also saw potential in Nurkovic as he wanted to transfer him to a team where his potential would be put to good use.
He also took the opportunity to transfer him to a team he will be able to monitor Nurkovic properly before he left Kaizer Chiefs for Naturena, luckily he got hired at Naturena where he had the chance to let Nurkovic's potential blossom as he wanted nothing bet the best for Nurkovic.
The fans did not expect to hear such news as no one was looking to hear this.
