After Zimbabwe and Kenya failed to solve their suspension with FIFA ,CAF has taken the decision on Monday night to disqualify the two nations and consider them as loosers.It was reported after the Africa Cup Of Nations in Cameroon ,January that the two nations has been suspended by FIFA due to political interference in their respective football Associations which contradict with FIFA regulations.
According to CAF , Morocco , South Africa and Liberia will compete in the group in absence of Zimbabwe and two teams will qualify for AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast.Bafana Bafana failed to qualify to AFCON 2022 in Cameroon when they lost 2-0 to Sudan.It was under the current Kaizer Chiefs Head of Technical and Youth Development Coach Molifi Ntseki.
Last week Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his preliminary squad ahead of the AFCON qualifies next month.SAFA has also sent letter of complaint to CAF regarding Liberia who has decided to play their home matches in Morocco as that gives Morocco advantage over Bafana Bafana.
