Pitso Mosimane added another South African to Al Ahly who will help with the technical team at the club. Pitso Mosimane who is a South African himself and arguably the best coach in Africa, added South Africa's most valuable player in the transfer market Percy Tau to Al Ahly which was a headline move and a good one as Tau will get more game time than he did at Brighton and Hove Albion.
After the appointment of Percy Tau, Pitso Mosimane's assistant at Al Ahly, Calvin Johnson who is also a South African departed ways with Al Ahly. Despite the news of Cavin Johnson leaving, there is good news again as Pitso Mosimane lured another South African to Egypt. Pitso Mosimane is filling Al Ahly with South African favourites, and soon the club of the century will be filled with South Africans developing their talents and careers in Egypt.
It has now come to light that Pitso Mosimane made a move for Orlando Pirates technical team member/analyst, Kyle Solomons. This is not the first time Pitso Mosimane takes someone from the Orlando Pirates technical team. In 2020 Pitso Mosimane took former Orlando Pirates analyst, Yusha Said with him on his move to the Red Eagles.
As Yusha Said and Cavin Johnson departed ways with Al Ahly, it's not a big loss for Pitso Mosimane and Al Ahly as the South African coach made great effort to bring on board Kyle Solomons from Orlando Pirates.
It's a loss for Orlando Pirates, but it's a win for Pitso Mosimane and Al Ahly.
