Defending champions Liverpool got stunned when they played Southampton last night. Liverpool are on top of the league with Manchester United hot on their heels. Liverpool's conceded the goal which saw them lose the match in the second minute when Danny Ings met a well placed free kick into the box and took a shot into the top corner out of reach from Liverpool's shot stopper.
Liverpool were very shaky as they were without the injured Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and their highly rated defender, well know as VVD.
The defeat keeps Liverpool on top of the league standings sharing points with Man United who have a game in hand but shot of Liverpool on goal difference.
Liverpool will be looking to bring in a few players during the January transfer window as injuries and COVID 19 can really impact the squad and affect the team's performance.
The English Premier League is really intruiging.
