Former Soweto Giants Head Coach Sentenced to Three Year's Imprisonment, See What He Did

Former Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Micho was found guilty on two accounts of sexual offense and was sentenced accordingly by the high court in Gqeberha, please find the below.

According to the statement the 52-year-old was in Sourh Africa to watch the regional Cosafa Under-20 Cup back in December 2020 where the incident took place.

" on 07 December 2020 during the Cosafa games in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), a 39-year-old was serving coffee at the Wolfson Stadium where she asked if Multon would like more suger for his coffee and he replied that he is interested on another type of suger pointing on the ladies private part," a statement from the court read.

" She complained to her line manager who then warned the Serbian international not to repeat this offense again, which he clearly did as on the second rounds a similar incident allegedly took place again with the employee at the stadium."

However, Micho denied both incidents that took place, but after investigations that took place the court concluded on the below.

"For both count one and two he was sentenced to three years imprisonment which is suspended for five years on condition that he does not again contravene section 5(2) and 5 (1) of the Sexual offenses Act," it explained.

However, despite the current findings he is still expected to continue his duties as the head coach of the Ghanaian national team he was not suspended or placed under some specIal temporal leave.

In the upcoming month Micho will try to lead his side to the third rounds and final round of African qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
