Pitso Mosimane, former Al Ahly coach and Mandla Ncikazi of the Orlando Pirates, has been nominated for Men's Coach of the Year at the 2022 CAF Awards that will be held soon. 
Mosimane and Ncikazi has been nominated alongside the likes of Kamou Malo, Amir Abdou, Carlos Quieroz, Tom Saintfiet, Florent Ibenge, Vahid Halilhodzic, Waldo Regragui and Aliou Cisse.
Pirates duo Bandile Shandu and Thembinkosi Lorch have been nominated for the Interclub Player of the Year award alongside with Al Ahly's Percy Tau and Peter Shaluli.
Meanwhile, Mosimane's former club Al Ahly and the Orlando Pirates have been nominated for the Club of the Year award after the team While the Egyptian giants had been nominated in the closing of the Caf Champions League, the Pirates took their region on the list via finishing second in the Caf Confederations Cup.
The CAF Awards 2022 will be held on July 21, 2022 in Rabat, Morocco.
