Orlando Pirates Striker Makes Bold Promise On His Future With The Club

Orlando Pirates has been facing a serious problem when it comes to goals in the last 2 games. The issue of injuries and ill discipline has left the coaches scrambling to find the winning combination under a lot of pressure. Tshegofatso Mabasa has been overwhelmed and he hasn't quite been the same since returning from national duty. The lack of goals points to an obvious problem as keeping clean sheets also highlights on the defence and they have been amazing during this period.

This star came into the club and immediately was put under pressure. There can't be any excuses when it comes to playing for a big team like Orlando Pirates. He has a lot potential and at the age of 21, he has the ability to evolve into a top player for the Buccaneers. He is yet to get his start for the club and has only been introduced as a substitute which isn't enough to properly assess him.

Kwame Prepah has come out to make a bold promise to the club about his future. He is definitely confident in his ability as he shared that he will net goal for the Buccaneers once he gets the right opportunity. He shared that he has already identified and built relationships within players in the club who know how to find and pass him the ball.

"I think I can handle the striking position in this team and I've got the player's who know how to pass me as for other strikers I am ready for competition if I get a chance I will be one of the outstanding players in the league this season mark my words".

Orlando Pirates will be up against Diable Noirs in the CAF confederations cup in their next match and Prepah will be hoping to get some game time. He has shown glimpses of being a decent striker by getting himself in good positions, however he hasn't been fortunate to have a clear cut opportunity. He will certainly be part of the squad as the season progress, there will be a need for more rotation more especially if they progress further in the continental competition.
