53 years old, Mamelodi Sundowns Senior Coach is in Demand after he won his first PSL League title this season. Steve Khomphela since he joined Mamelodi Sundowns did well in adding depth in Co Coaches Rhulani Mokwena and Manqoba Mqithi. 
Steve Khomphela is set to join Orlando Pirates after rumours that was linking him to Pirates. Orlando Pirates is set to pay Mamelodi Sundowns 28 Million because Steve Khomphela will have to terminate contract that was set to expire in 2026. Orlando Pirates confirm that they are negotiating with Mamelodi Sundowns to bring Steve Khomphela to Orlando Pirates while Josef Zinnbauer is set togo back to Europe to coach there. Mamelodi Sundowns stated in their contract of Steve Khomphela that they will pay Steve Khomphela 28 million if they terminate his contract.
