PSL Log Standings And Match Results After Midweek Games

The Premier Soccer League continued on a lovely Wednesday and give football fans something to smile about when they watched their favourite premier division team. The CAF competitors were back to play their games in hand, and they managed to make the nation proud by qualifying for the next round. A lot of hard work needs to be done in the continental stage, but we will shift our focus to the local stage. Image credit: goal.com

Usuthu went toe to toe with their KZN neighbors, and it was a KZN derby that produced an avalanche of goals and the action was enjoyable for football fans. Amazulu coach might not be happy with the results, but at least he didn't lose this game, and the chairman will start to demand wins after the club finished second last season after the reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns. Another KZN side was in action against the new boys from Limpopo, Marumo Gallants are starting to find their balance, and they must know that wins are more important in the DStv Premiership. Nothing changed at the top, the Pretoria boys are leading sitting comfortably at the top, Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United will have to battle each other to see the real log leaders, but at this stage, Stellenbosch or Orlando Pirates can top the log after one win. The game management and refereeing skills were marvelous and nothing in this world is perfect, but we saw a huge improvement and we wish every PSL game can be handled with this improvement. We look forward to the next game.
