Ronwen Williams has suggested the SuperSport United first team might be too young to win trophies?

"It's difficult, very difficult because they need experience to guide them and at some moments our Starting IX is made up of a lot of 20 and 21- year - olds and its difficult because they are still in their learning phases. But that is where you grow,"

"You don't learn by sitting in the stands, so they are going to get better and we will challenge for things, maybe not this season, maybe next season but eventually the tree will bear fruit,"

The current captain and top class goalkeeper of SuperSport United Ronwen Williams has suggested that at the moment the team is perhaps filled with too many young players to challenge for the title right now according to & courtesy of reports from SoccerLaduma

At SuperSport United it has been a recurring theme of the club selling their best players to their most fiercest rivals in the form of Mamelodi Sundowns in the past few years in the form of Aubrey Modiba and Teboho Mokoena

And as possible replacements they have not re-invested the money in players who are on the same level as the ones who have been sold but they have taken the route of placing complete faith into younger players who still have room to grow and improve

Which is why perhaps SuperSport United could potentially only be serial title challengers within the next three seasons or so due the fact that at the moment the squad they have is too young to challenge for trophies
