Pirates to part ways with top striker if he is not in the coaches plans

As the DStv Premiership season is coming to an end, a lot of faithful Orlando Pirates supporters were puzzled by the fact that one of the club's top players Ganadino Mhango was benched by the current technical team while they were in need of his services. This led to many speculations which circulated on various social media and some media platforms that the Malawian international player is set to part ways with the Soweto giants as he was reportedly unhappy with the way things turned out for him this season.

It was even more surprising that Mhango was a top performer for his country during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon, the technical team still remained mum about the player as they still continued to bench him, and it was also rumoured that the player and the co-coach Mandla Ncikazi don't actually get along as the former Golden Arrows Coach publicly repremanded him.

It was now been reported by the agent of the player that Gabadinho Mhango can be taken elsewhere next season if the technical team of the club does not have plans for him next season, and according to the agent he also claims that chairman Irvin Khoza has also given him his blessings to take his client elsewhere if this materialises. Mhango was only featured on ten league games for the Buccaneers this season, with far less minutes played.

Orlando Pirates have excersided the option to extend Mhango's contract, however they can still part ways with him if they receive a reasonable offer for his services which will benefit both the player and the club. According to the player's agent Mhango is happy to be at Pirates but what will make him more happier will be when he is given an opportunity to be in the field of play.
