Orlando Pirates has some of the best talent within their squad, however the club looks be on a never ending quest for the next big thing. It is almost a decade since they last won the league trophy and this is starting to pile up the pressure on the leadership. The club has also seen a couple of unfortunate incidents over the past couple of years as well as issue with players misbehaving off the field.
Mike Makaab is a veteran football agent and is one of the most successful in the PSL. He is the CEO of Prosport International which has the likes of Sipho Mbule, Andile Jali and this Pirates star among many others. He is well respected in South African football for what he has achieved since his the 90s. He has chosen to stay behind this star despite all the controversy he faced over the past year and it looks like things might be looking up.
Mike Makaab sat down for an interview with Robert Marawa to discuss a couple of his players during the January transfer window and AFCON. He spoke on Sipho Mbule's Kaizer Chiefs links and went on to speak on Gabadinho Mhango's amazing showing for Malawi in the ongoing AFCON tournament.
"Players like @gabadinhoFlames have the X factor. I don't think he knows the magic he possesses. I see a good future ahead of him."
He revealed that he doesn't think Gabadinho Mhango knows what he can achieve and his potential. Makaab went on to share that is one player who the x-factor and the talent to secure an overseas move. This dream will be a step close to being realized after he netted 3 goals including a potential goal of the tournament against Morocco.
