The firing of the South African veteran coach Owen Day Gama by TS Galaxy Football Club owner Tim Sukazi, took South Africa by storm.
Da Gama who has been with the club since they bought the status of Highlands Park Football Club before the beginning of the 2020/2021 season, was relieved of his duties after a poor start to the season which sees Galaxies last on the DSTV premiership log, with two points from possible fifteen points after five games.
With their former assistant coach Shaun Bartlett, now their caretaker coach, the club is looking for a new coach.
Ts Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi caused a stir among South Africans as he took to Twitter to share a cryptic message in which he tagged Rulani Mokwena, giving South Africans thoughts that he may be TS Galaxy's next coach.
But currently, Mokwena is Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club co-coach alongside Manqoba Mqgithi.
