The Young Bucks React To Cody Rhodes' WWE Return

All In 2?

Cody Rhodes WWE WrestleMania 38

After months of speculation, Cody Rhodes is finally, officially back in WWE, with the former Intercontinental Champion having re-debuted for the company at Night 1 of WrestleMania 38. There, Rhodes was - as predicted by most - the mystery opponent for Seth Rollins, and Cody picked up an inevitable victory in an absolute barnburner of a match.

For those who feared we'd see Stardust, Dashing, or even some new iteration of Cody Rhodes, the Cody seen at 'Mania 38 was every inch AEW's Cody Rhodes. There was the full in-ring attire and entrance garb, there was the bangin' Kingdom entrance song by Downstait, there was of course the opinion-splitting neck tattoo, and this was Cody as the American Nightmare who was immediately positioned as being a major player in Vince McMahon's land of sports entertainment.

While Cody himself emotionally reacted to this return in a WWE Digital interview following the match, amongst the many, many wrestling personalities commenting on Rhodes appearance at the Showcase of the Immortals were The Young Bucks.

As is ever the case with Nick and Matt Jackson, they opted to change their Twitter bio to reference the WWE return of their former fellow AEW EVP.

Taking place at Chicago's Sears Centre Arena, September 2018's revolutionary All In PPV was put together by Cody Rhodes, the Jacksons and Ring of Honor - and would famously be the early origins of what would become All Elite Wrestling.
