The Premiere Soccer League games will return this afternoon until tomorrow, Tuesday 24 May for mid week action.
Only three games and six teams will be in action this mid week as some of the teams will be playing their last games of the season.
We look at the log table before the games that are set to take place this midweek.
Mamelodi Sundowns are at the summit of the log table with a total of 62 points collected after match day 29.
The club will be looking to finish the season with 65 points when they play their last game of the season against Royal AM this afternoon.
Sundowns have already secured the league title and the club is set to receive their league trophy this afternoon after their game against RAM.
Royal AM sit on fifth position with a total of 46 points collected so far this season.
The club aim for the top two finish this season to be able to qualify for the CAF tournament next season.
The kwazulu natal based side only trail the second placed Cape Town City by three points and a win this afternoon could get the club to the second place since they have a healthy goal difference compared to City.
AmaZulu sit on sixth place with a total of 41 points collected after match day 29.
The club already secured the top eight finish and they will be looking to improve their log position when playing their last game of the season against Golden Arrows tomorrow Tuesday 24 May.
Orlando Pirates sit on seventh place with a total of 40 points after match day 27.
The Buccaneers are also gunning for the top two finish this season and if the club could win all their three remaining games they could qualify for the CAF tournament next season.
Golden Arrows sit on ninth place and the club will be looking to move into the top eight when playing against Amazulu.
Maritzburg United are on 12th place and the club is already safe from the relegation.
