Fans Left Fuming After Egyptian Reporter Said This About South Africans In Relation To Pitso

South Africa is a football loving nation and thus means that there's a large following for the sport. We've seen many people represent the country in football, however Pitso Mosimane has to be biggest at the moment. He is currently enjoying a lot of success with Al Ahly since joing them in 2020. He has went on to lift 2 CAF Champions League trophies and looks prime for more. He is flying the flag high and he is undoubtedly out biggest export right now.

Pitso Mosimane has been in the news lately as his contract with Al Ahly approaches the final stages. There has been rumors that he could be leaving the Egyptian, however many seem to think otherwise. He will have the opportunity to bargain on his terms after winning trophies and proving that he is well deserving of the job.

South Africans were left fuming after an Egyptian reporter delivered a shocking statement regarding the crunch contract talks. The reporter allegedly said Al Ahly need to renew Pitso Mosimane's contract which will open the door for South Africans to come to Egypt to escape poor living condition. Many weren't impressed by this distasteful and ignorant statement.

“After Pitso's contract extension with Al Ahly, we will invite South Africans to escape poverty and come live with us here in Egypt.” – Egyptian reporter.

South Africans took to social media to share their thoughts under the post. Many felt that this statement was undermining the country and painting a bad image of the living condition. This clearly didn't land well regardless of how it was intended.

Jingles will definitely have a lot of deciding to do over the next couple of months when his contract runs out. It is said that he attracted interest from the UAE and a couple of African nations. He is the most sought after coach in the continent at the moment and this is part of the reason why many were left puzzled by his FIFA snub.
