Ghazl El Mahalla played against Ceremica Cleopatra away from home in the Egypt Cup and lost the match 2-0 in the end.
Ghazl El Mahalla played their latest fixture in the Egypt Cup competition against Ceremica Cleopatra away from home and suffered an unfortunate 2-0 loss. Ghazl's loss has cost them a spot in the Egypt Cup, as they has made an exit out of the competition. Ceremica Cleopatra now progress to the Round of 16 in the competition as their 2-0 win in the Round of 32 against Ghazl gave them the opportunity to further their run. Ceremica Cleopatra's win is all thanks to Ragab Omran and Ahmed Yasser Rayan who scored both goals in the second half of the match.
Ceramica Cleopatra opened the scoring in the second half of the match when Ragab Omran scored in the 49th minute of the match as Ceremica took the 1-0 lead. Ceremica extended their lead to 2-0 when Ahmed Yasser Rayan scored in the 70th minute as Ceremica Cleopatra won the match 2-0 in the end. Ceremica will now be playing in the Round of 16 as Ghazl exit the competition.
