Injury Crisis means Kaizer Chiefs could look for a January striker

The powerful Kaizer Chiefs will return to action in the DSTV Premiership at the end of the week, with the goal of resuming their winning ways.

Kaizer Chiefs' season has started on an extremely disappointing note, as they have lost four of their first seven matches.

Also, the fact that Amakhosi will be facing their former boss Gavin Hunt, who will be on the other touch line, adds an unexpected twist to their crucial experience versus Chippa United.

Gavin Hunt, the previous Amakhosi manager, didn't have a particularly impressive track record, and during his time as Kaizer Chiefs' first group lead trainer, he oversaw one of the most egregiously bad times in the club's history.

Furthermore, Kaizer Chiefs elected to sack Gavin Hunt as the club's top supervisor at the end of last season, despite the fact that to assume the best about him, he was unable to go into the transfer market to buy players.
