7 Done Deals That Have Been Completed On Deadline Day And Other Deals That Could Be Announced Soon

It is the deadline for the current season's transfer window, which is August 31st, 2021. All clubs in Europe have until midnight on August 31 to finalize any agreements before the various leagues begin their respective seasons in September.

With the International break on the horizon, every top club has a list of targets to complete and opponents to hunt down. As the transfer window deadline approaches in the next few minutes and hours, all hands are on deck in the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1, among other leagues.

There are some completed transactions and others that could be reported in the next few minutes or hours as the deadline day draws to a conclusion; they are listed in no particular sequence.

1. Emerson Royal has signed a contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

Only a few months after signing Emerson Royal from Real Betis on a five-year deal until 2026, FC Barcelona has reportedly sold the right back to Tottenham Hotspur for €25 million on a five-year deal till the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping that the highly regarded right back will assist the team expand their lead at the top of the Premier League standings.

2. Saul Nguez to the Chelsea Football Club

Sal Nguez, a midfielder for Atletico Madrid, has joined Chelsea on a season-long loan deal worth €5 million, the club announced recently. According to reports, personal terms have been agreed upon, and Sal will be in London shortly to finalize the agreement before the deadline.

In addition to his versatility as a midfielder, the highly rated player can play as a wing forward, attacking midfielder, and striker.

3. Real Madrid signs Edouard Camavinga as a free agent.

Rafael Benitez's Real Madrid has reportedly finalised the signing of Rennes sensation Eduardo Camavinga for a reported €40 million fee with €31 million in guaranteed add-ons on a six-year contract that will run until 2025.

The signing of Frenchman Kylian has been put on hold, and Real Madrid will try to find solace in the Camavinga's agreement as we enter the International break, according to the club.

4. Moise Kean has agreed to join Juventus.

Moise Kean has returned to his first club, Juventus, on loan after spending the last two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain and Everton, respectively.

The teenager will remain at the club for the next two years on loan from Everton, with the option to purchase the player from the Toffees.

5. Ilaix Moriba has signed a contract with RB Leipzig.

Ilaix Moriba, a former FC Barcelona wonderkid, has signed a four-year contract with RB Leipzig that will keep him at the club until 2025 for a fee of €16 million plus €6 million in add-ons.

The kid will be disclosed by RB Leipzig as soon as possible and before the end of the deadline day.

6. Hudson-Odoi has signed a contract with Borussia Dortmund.

According to various sources, Hudson-Odoi and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement on personal conditions, and it will only be a matter of time until the Bundesliga giants announce the signing of the teenager.

7. PSG signs Nuno Mendes as a free agent.

Nuno Mendes, a 19-year-old midfielder from Sporting Lisbon, has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan. Pablo Sarabia, the wonderkid from Mexico, was involved in the transaction and will join Sporting Lisbon on loan as a result of it.

Other agreements that could be disclosed in the near future include:

Antoine Griezmann has agreed to join Atletico Madrid.

According to various sources, Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona are in advanced talks about re-signing Frenchman Antoine Griezmann to a new contract. Prior to repeated reports of Jao Felix being engaged in the transaction, there was no player involved in the transaction.

The discussions are currently in their advanced stages, and an announcement might come as soon as a few minutes or hours.

Rben Neves has agreed to join Manchester United.

With only a few hours left until the transfer deadline, Manchester United may be able to complete the signing of a central midfielder, with Rben Neves the most likely candidate. Following the loss of Saul Niguez to Chelsea earlier today, the Red Devils will almost certainly pursue a trade for Neves in order to rebalance their team.
