After signing a contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Tai FC, Knowledge Musona has put an end to conjecture connecting him with a return to Kaizer Chiefs. Anderlecht have verified that Musona, 31, has lost the dressing room ahead of the 2021/22 season to join newly promoted Saudi Professional League club Al-Tai.
"Knowledge Musona will serve for Al-Tai FC next season," Anderlecht declared on Monday evening on their website.
"Musona relocated from Oostende in 2019." He spent the last year and a half on loan at KAS Eupen, where he appeared in 33 games and scored nine goals. He is now with Al-Tai FC, which was recently promoted from Saudi Arabia's MBS League.
"Sporting wishes Knowledge the best of luck in his future endeavors." "Best wishes, Knowledge."
The Zimbabwe international's move to the Middle East brings an end to speculation that he might come back to South Africa next season, where Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, and his former club Chiefs were all rumored to be involved.
