Pitso's side slapped with another fine following their big win against Zamalek
Just when the South African Al Ahly sc fans were celebrating Pitso's victory against their arch rivals the club's chairman decided to announce that the fines for losing against ..... are now cancelled. This was a decision taken after the tactical team and the players produced excellent performance against the defending champions of the Egyptian League.
The club is now on top of the table with Zamalek dropping to 5th position.
The CAF Champions and the White Knights played out to an action-packed 8 goal thriller on Friday night, with Percy Tau's side scoring five goals and walking away as winners over their bitter rivals, 5:3 at fulltime.
Unfortunately it was a big derby and drama will always be there as several punishable offences took place, thus prompting the EFA to impose sanctions on both clubs due to minor disturbances during the match and after the game had finished.
According to reports Al ahly sc were given an EGP50 000 (R47 675) fine because their respective coaching staffs made their way on to the pitch while celebrating various goals. The same happened with Zamalek coaching staff as they recieved the same fine.
Zamalek will be paying more as they were hit with an extra EGP25 000 (R23 837) fine because their manager Patrice Carteron refused to show up for the post-match press conference.
When they thoughts it's over, another fine was knocking as they won their third of EGP50 000 (R47 675) for tossing a ball on to the pitch during their opponent's second penalty in that game.
Pitso Mosimane is back on top driving the league just like he used to do with Mamelodi Sundowns in the PSL.
