It has been a conflicting week for Kaizer Chiefs. They went from an emphatic victory against Maritzburg United midweek to losing against Mamelodi Sundowns on the weekend. It just goes to show the difference in quality in the 2 teams they played against throughout the course of the week. The club is currently going through a rebuilding phase with coach Arthur Zwane at the helm. It was a week of learning and exposing the good and the bad.
This star joined Kaizer Chiefs this season after spending some time with Stellenbosch United. He is a product of the Amakhosi department, however he was let go. The club had to buy him back after impressing at his various teams. He has started for the club in the first 3 games of the season. He looks set to become a key player for the club.
Zitha Kwinika took to social media to share an encouraging post . The star reflected on the loss against Mamelodi Sundowns. He concluded by sharing that giving up is not an option. He is definitely a leader and has shown during his short time with the club that he is passionate about the badge. This is the kind of players that the club needs
He was partnered with Siyabonga Ngezana at the back over the weekend. There's no doubt that he will encourage him after having a horror game against Downs. They have a good relationship as they have played together from the development structures with Kaizer Chiefs.
Amakhosi will be up against Richards Bay in their next game. This won't be easy as the new kids on the block are yet to lose since arriving in the top flight. It will definitely require a lot of mental strength to recover and try to come away with the victory. Zitha Kwinika will be relishing the opportunity to bounce back and help the club return to winning ways.
