Sundowns Reject Loan Request for Star Player

According to a source the Cloorkop based team has rejected loan request for their star player. Sundowns have been relying on both Kennedy Mweene and Onyango lately. They have also used former Chiefs goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse. However the last game he got a bad injury which saw him been stretched off.

Goss has only managed to feature 5 times last season for Tshwane giant in all competition. When he first came to Sundowns the team was looking for someone who can be a good back up for both Mweene and Onyango. However it seems like he has been made a fourth choice at the moment.

There are PSL teams who made an enquiry about Goss due to a lack of game time at Sundowns.

According to a source Sundowns are not keen on letting him go even if the suitors can come back in January. Sundowns will still reject their offers. Sundowns will be participating in many tournaments this season including CAF champions league. They prefer to have all the goalkeepers they currently have. They want to have good cover for in case there is suspension or long term injuries.

However according to insider Goss will love to play more often for Sundowns.

Sundowns have rejected many suitors who wants the services of former Wits player.

Goss was hoping that he will at least be number two by now given the age of both Mweene and Onyango. However both goalkeepers have proven that they can still do the business. Mweene had great game against Chiefs which saw him save a number of penalties in MTN8 cup.

Onyango made great saves against Pirates even Pirates coach thought he deserve man of the match in their PSL game. It seems like Goss will need to be more patient.
