Paris Saint-Germain visited Clermont-ferrand last night to face the city's side Clermont Foot. Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, PSG's most deadly trio all delivered last night and made their fans from Paris and all over the world happy.
Both Neymar and Mbappe scored hat-tricks and Messi delivered a hat-trick of assists. The trio has now been involved in eleven goals over the last two games. This is a big moment for the Paris team and fans because this is what they have been edging for since the beginning of the season.
It is said that Leo Messi is the first player in Ligue 1 history to assist three goals in a single game more than once in a season.
So far this season Mbappe is the leading goal-scorer and top assister in Ligue 1, with twenty one goals and fifteen assists, and Messi is in second place with thirteen assists.
We can't wait to see what this trio still has in store for us. We still hope to see them together next season.
