A new topic of interest from the Mamelodi Sundowns camp is the contract of star player Themba Zwane which is set to expire at the end of the season.
Zwane who is 31 years old is the current reigning PSL player Of The Season and has been an instrumental figure in Downs last campaign and the current campaign under new leadership following the departure of Pitso Mosimane.
However, according to his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane, there is nothing to worry about as he is confident the Chloorkop side will exercise the option to extend his contract because he is such an asset to the club.
“Which team would not want to keep a player like him? He has an option in his contract, which the club is going to exercise anyway. It’s not like we are sitting here worried, so yes, it is what it is. There is no issue. That option is going to be exercised, so there are no problems,” Jazzman Mahlakgane tells the Siya crew.
Other top players at Sundowns who have their contracts expiring at the end of the season include Lebogang Maboe, Andile Jali and Rivaldo Cotzee but have options in their contracts to be extended.
