Patrick Shai a 'clout chaser' after his apology"/>
The South African artist and businessman Cassper Nyovest has proved that he’s more than a musician. As he loves boxing and cannot stop exploring this sport. By the looks of things, he’s reviving boxing within the country, since it has been underrated in the past couple of years. At the moment, he’s preparing for his second boxing match against the actor and singer Anga “NaakMusiq” Makhubalo which will occur on April 8 at Sun City.
This was confirmed when he knocked out the South African YouTuber Slik Talk in December. This was their first boxing match, but the controversial YouTuber still walked away with his R100 000 for showing up and taking part to the match. Cassper isn’t afraid to throw in his money for these challenges. It seems like celebrity boxing is going to be a trend to stay. As long as they’re investing in it and entertaining their fans. Also, this gives sponsors and gamblers an opportunity to splash their money within these boxing matches.
Now, a well-known South African actor Patrick Shai has posted a video on his social media platform claiming that he wants a piece of Cassper on the ring. As he feels that he has what it takes to beat him in a boxing match. Within the video that has surfaced online, the former Skeem Saam actor’s approach left a lot of people angry due to the disrespect he shown towards Cassper and his family. “This is Mr Patrick Shai. I want to meet you in the wrestling ring. I want to bl*ksem you before I die. I want to make sure that I’ve beaten you up so that on my tombstone, it is written that I am the man who beat Caster or Coster or whatever your name is… Give me that respect. Come, you son of a...,” said the former Generations actor on the viral video.
What's your opinion on this? Let's talk about it.
