Patosi has received offers from Iranian clubs and another nation, but he is open to returning to the Premier Soccer League with Chiefs.

His contract with Foolad FC expires at the end of June, and he will be a free agent at that time, according to him, because the Chiefs have not approached him yet.

I'm not sure what will happen, and I haven't made a decision yet." True, I've received offers from other teams, so I'll have to be cautious and certain in my decision.Patosi told Soccer Laduma that he has made his decision.

I've had offers from other Iranian clubs, as well as another offer from a club outside of Iran, but I'm not going to name the club or country right now.

I've seen things on the internet tying me to a return to South Africa and that the Chiefs and other clubs are interested in me, but I haven't spoken to anyone about joining any of the clubs.

Patosi is 29 years old, which isn't the age bracket that new Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane prefers, but with no other options, However, the lack of transfer funds after his Foolad deal expires may persuade Amakhosi to make a move for the player.

With six seasons of top-flight league experience in Belgium, as well as a period in the United Arab Emirates and now Iran, he could be just what Zwane needs to blend in with his team's less experienced players.

Patosi would join Keagan Dolly and Kgaogelo Sekgota as players who have previously played in Europe if he signs with Chiefs.

Patosi last appeared in the PSL for Cape Town City in 2019, and they are still his lone local club.
