Following Pitso's demise at Al Ahly Ex-Egypt, Star insulted him by saying these heinous things.

Pitso, an ex-Egyptian footballer, thought Al Ahly was similar to Sundowns.

Following his departure this week, Pitso Mosimane reportedly thought Al Ahly "would be like Mamelodi Sundowns," according to a former Egypt international.

After a torphy-filled two years in Cairo, the South African tactician and Al Ahly parted ways on Monday by mutual arrangement.

After the CAF Champions League final loss to Wydad Casablanca, Mosimane was chastised, with veteran Egypt striker Mohamed 'Gedo' Nagy claiming Mosimane had lost the dressing room.

Mosimane compared Al Ahly to Sundowns, believing that if he won trophies, no one would blame him.

"He also lost the support of the locker room and the players after publicly criticizing them, such as Mohamed Sherif and Hossam Hassan," he continued.

Mosimane has had a difficult time with Al Ahly in recent games, and it has been his worst stint with the team. "Despite his great tenure with Al Ahly, Pitso lost the locker room owing to his angry comments towards some players," stated Mido, "I feel he selected the correct time to depart."

"I'd want to express my gratitude to Pitso for his time with Al Ahly; he was an excellent addition to the Egyptian Premier League."

In the CAF Champions League 2010, Gedo made his El Ahly debut against Ismaily. Gedo had an excellent first season with Ahly, scoring eight goals.

He confessed that his inclusion in the squad surprised him, as he had read about it on the internet. In the build-up to the African Cup of Nations, Gedo scored his first international goal in Dubai against Mali after coming on as a substitute in a 1–0 draw on January 4th. On the 12th of January, he scored the third goal in Egypt's 3–1 triumph over Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations opener.
