The Kaizer Chiefs Empire as we know it today was built by brilliant minds which included Kaizer Motaung himself.
Formed in the early seventies, the club has become the most successful team in the country and a global brand. Good governance and sound administration is the foundation on which the team's success was built. The successes of Amakhosi has made the team to be the most supported brand throughout the continent.
The Chairman and Founder of team, Chincha Guluva, now aged 77, is fully aware that those who will step into his shoes the day he retires, must be competent and be able to take team to the next level. So far, his children are now all involved in the administration of the team.
Led by Bobby Motaung, Football Manager, other children are playing a major role in the team as well. Jessica Motaung, Marketing Brand Manager has done well so far in making sure the Amakhosi brand stays ahead of others. She and her sibling Kemiso Motaung, Head of Digital, have formed a strong team. Joining the rest of other siblings on team management is Kaizer Motaung Jnr, who has been appointed as Director of Sport.
With all his children's hands on deck, and doing fantastically well for the team, the Chairman can take comfort in the fact the team will continue to grow should he retire anytime soon.
