Orlando Pirates star told to wake up

It is clear that some footballers just watch life changing moments skip past them.

Playing for one's national team is a life life opportunity that could open greater doors in the future.

But Orlando Pirates midfielder Goodman Mosele never saw it that way. He missed his golden opportunity of showing the world just how good his talent is.

Mosele was called up to the National tram but he failed to honour thay Bafana Bafana call-up earlier this month. That saw him being criticised in many quarters and his chances of a future call up now look slim.

Mosele was supposed to play for Bafana Bafana against Ethiopia in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

A source that spoke to football publication Phakaathi said Mosele needed to wake up and realize that playing for one's national team was of paramount importance.

“I am not sure if he understands where he is now, he is no longer at Baroka, he is at Pirates. Not everyone plays for Orlando Pirates. He has to be professional, he is representing a lot of people and there are many people who are looking up to him.

The source added that Mosele needed to change his behaviour because what he did at the national team is something that he used to also do at Baroka.
