Coman saves Bayern from a disappointing defeat against Salzburg

It looked like an easy fixture on paper for Bayern against Salzburg, Bayern were looking to bounce back after that 4-1 defeat against Bochum in the Bundesliga.

Manuel Neuer is still injured and Steven Ulriech had to be the 1st choice keeper. Bayern came into this fixture unbeaten in 6 games in the Champions league with a perfect record in the group stages.

Salzburg scored the 1st via Adamu in the 21st minute to give the home team the lead, they tried to capitalize on Bayern’s mistake but they couldn’t finish them off and they defended well against Bayern attack.

In the 2nd half Bayern came charging into the game and tried to win it but Salzburg’s defense were good and made sure Bayern don’t find a chance to score. In the 90th minute Kingsley Coman equalized and saved Bayern from being defeat by Salzburg, the game ended in a 1 all draw that see Bayern having to end their perfect record in this seasons CL campaign.

Brenden Aaronson created more chances against Bayern than any player in either of today's Champions League matches, Bayern have a lot things to fix if they want to see themselves winning the competition for the 7th time.

Naglesmann still adapted the same tactics he had against Bochum, fielding 5 attacking players won’t work 5 attacking players, we can't even get Lewandowski in a shooting position.

Horrendous transition, unable to play between the lines, Muller doesn't even know where he should be on the pitch. Gnabry couldn’t dribble , Coman was isolated, Sane turning around himself... Add width, and let Muller play comfortably.
