Antonio Conte Already Reveals A Player Who Could Solve Man United Problems At The Midfield

Only six weeks remain until the start of the Premier League season, and Erik ten Hag is already hard at work upgrading the roster he inherited.

It has been suggested that on August 7th, the Dutch manager will make his Premier League debut against a hot Brighton Hove & Albion team.

To that end, he has already set his sights on former Tottenham Hotspur players Christian Eriksen and Frankie De Jong to bolster his midfield this summer.

Frankie De Jong will almost certainly start at center back for the club, while Christian Eriksen is expected to challenge Bruno Fernandes for the starting striker position.

The Dutch could also rearrange their lineup so that Eriksen, De Jong, and Bruno Fernandes can all play.

But Conte seems to have instructed Erik ten Hag how he may deploy Eriksen to fix his problems at the midfield after working with Eriksen at Inter Milan before being stricken by heart related disease and given marching orders from Sanssiro.

Ahead of his own defense, Conte in 2021 maintained, "There is a way to utilise Eriksen's ingenuity in the last attacking third" ( defensive role)

If Man United is successful in signing the Dane this summer, he will be able to contribute on both defense and offense.

"Even if Christian is already playing as an attacking-midfielder and a midfielder who goes deeper, we're trying to get the most out of him in that position. This is beneficial to the squad, and it also gives me the chance to try out a new position in the middle of the field."
