PSL Champions Mamelodi Sundowns Have Found A Replacement For Key Player Who Left Them? SEE WHO

A Golden Arrows star centre back has been named as Ricardo Nascimento's restoration at Mamelodi Sundowns.

After five and a half years at Chookloop, Brazilian defender Nascimento's contract was unexpectedly revoked in January. Erwin Saavedra, the club's 5th foreign player, was officially registered as a result of his deregistration.

As a consequence, the Tshwane giants have been left vulnerable at the back and have been on the lookout for a capable centre-back.

Manqoba Mngqithi, the mentor of Sundowns, recently claimed that his star-studded squad requires extra troops.

As per Siya reports, Arrows centre-back Nkosinathi Sibisi has been considered as a possible predecessor to Nascimento.

Sundowns coaches Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena were required to switch centre backs during the season injury problems to Rushine De Reuck, Brian Onyango Rushine De Reuck, and Grant Kekana.

Sibisi, who is in close agreement with Sundowns, has appeared in 20 DStv Premiership games so far this season, managed to score three times and assisting once. His outstanding performances have earned him a ticket to the Bafana Bafana squad.

Sundowns isn't the only club desperate to sign Sibisi; Orlando Pirates too are keen.
