Chiefs could still sign overseas-based star?

Braga SC in Portugal exercised a two-year contract extension option for winger Kobamelo Kodisang, who had been linked to Kaizer Chiefs. However, this does not necessarily imply that the narrative is over. The prospect of being loaned out to a lower division does not appeal to Kodisang, a former playmaker for Bidvest Wits who joined Braga three years ago.

At the beginning of the month, his representative, Mike Makaab, told SABC Sport that "Braga have exercised their option on Kobamelo, that's another two seasons." We've been informed that they intend to loan him out to a second division team, but neither the player nor we are delighted about it and won't accept it.

Negotiations may be nearing a conclusion for the Chiefs target. If Kodisang does decide to leave the Portuguese side, Makaab confirmed that Naturena might be a potential destination in a separate interview with GagasiFM. He also said that more information about the conversations between all parties was being shared.

Dillan Solomons, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, and Lehlogonolo George Matlou from Swallows FC, Siyethemba Sithebe from AmaZulu, and Mduduzi Shabalala, who has been formally promoted from the Chiefs Reserve side, have all joined the Glamour Boys in their quest for triumph. Season 2022–2023 preparations are already well under way.
