'Micho' as he is affectionately within the South African football fraternity was accused of inappropriately touching the buttocks of a 39-years old woman who was serving him coffee at the Wolfson stadium in 2020.

He had been there with the Zambian U-20 team which was playing the Cosafa championships. Micho was initially released on a R10,000 bail at the New Brighton Magistrate’s Court.

When the incident occurred, it is understood that the unidenfied woman brought him a cup of coffee to which she asked if he wanted more sugar, however, Micho allegedly turned down that offer instead asked for a different kind of sugar, which was basically to relay copulative sensations to her pelvic zones.

The woman turned down his overtures, but when she went on to bring him a second cup of coffee later on the day, he disdainfully and inappropriately touched her buttocks, which has effectively got him into trouble with the law.

As a man in a country which has a heightened level of sexual abuse of women, one finds Micho's conduct deplorable and utterly indefensible.

It remains to be seen what sort of sentence Micho will get, ordinarily, sexual offences in South African without aggravating factors) can carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

Since the Serbian has limitless resources at his disposal, one cannot really see him leave the matter unchallenged, he will inevitably challenge the ruling at a higher court and possibly all the year to the Apex court of needs be.

The 52-years old is currently the Head coach of the Ugandan National team after he was unceremoniously sacked by Zambia following a disastrous Afcon qualifiers in which 'Chipolopolo' failed to qualify.

One can also argue that, despite his coaching abilities, Micho is a man who has invariably being dogged by controversy, as his stint at Pirates also ended a huge cloud of sexual assaults allegations.

What do you make of the ruling which has found Micho guilty of sexual assault?
